Hairstyling
Hairstyling refers to the major services performed by a hairstylist: hair coloring, shampooing, conditioning, wet hairstyling, haircutting, permanent waving, and the trimming and styling of facial hair.  It also includes clipper cutting, shaving, massaging, and facial treatments.
Cosmetology
Beauty schools train cosmetologists in the areas of cosmetic application, artificial wraps, esthetics, shampooing, permanent waving, artificial hair (wigs), hair coloring, hair straightening, facial makeup and treatments, and massage techniques. Licensure
