Tuition and Related Costs

To start, the student must pay the registration fee ($150) and purchase his or her equipment (approximately $1,300) out of his/her own resources.

Enrollees in the courses for licensed cosmetologists and the refresher course usually already have their equipment and little if any additional equipment is needed. FINANCIAL AID IS AVAILABLE!

Tuition is billed as follows (as of January 1st, 2006):

Basic Barbering & Hairstyling Course:

1st payment Period	$1,800.00	due first day of classes
2nd payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 300 hours
3rd payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 600 hours
4th payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 900 hours
5th payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 1200 hours
6th payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 1500 hours
7th payment Period	$2,160.00	due after completing 1800 hours
Total Tuition	$12,960.00

Master Barbering & Hairstyling Course:

1st payment Period	$1,800.00	due first day of classes
2nd payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 300 hours
3rd payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 600 hours
4th payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 900 hours
5th payment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 1200 hours

7th payment Period	$2,560.00	due after completing 1800 hours

Barbering & Hairstyling for Cosmetologists:

4th Enrollment Period	$1,800.00	due after completing 900 hours

Refresher Course for Licensed Hairstylists/Barbers:

Single Enrollment Period	$2,400.00	due first day of class
Total Tuition	$2,400.00

Students who miss more than 200 clock hours (approximately three weeks) for any reason will be charged additional tuition at a rate of $6.00 per hour for any missed time over 200 hours. Any additional tuition must come from the student's resources; financial aid will not pay for additional tuition.

Students are not subject to tuition increases after enrollment unless they terminate and later return. In those instances, students will pay the prevailing tuition costs at the time they re-enroll.
